This position is primarily responsible for the development and coordination of processes and reporting metrics, aimed at maximizing profitable sales revenue growth for NGP Key Off Highway OEM accounts. It includes development of specific action plans, account objectives, effective countermeasures to misses or direction. Responsibility includes but is not limited to: advocating for the needs of the customer, leading and managing sales activities, achieving account sales plans, provide technical solutions/support/assistance, providing customer feedback and needs to Nelson organization to assist in the planning process, and cultivating relationships with industry partners to strengthen Nelson's position in the marketplace.

Management of opportunities, RFQ's, for all Key Accounts from prospecting to close for all Nelson products.
Works closely with Key Accounts Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and other functions as necessary; works with NGP internal management, engineering, operations, to ensure sales success.
Quick learner and able to work under pressure with ability to meet deadlines
Strong sales skills including prospecting, forecasting, presenting, value selling, total cost of ownership, and closing new business.
Contract negotiation experience.
Outstanding interpersonal skills. Strong in-person, written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Self-motivated with a strong ability to support and motivate others.
Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent self-management skills.
Work with Director of Off Highway Sales to develop annual sales targets and AOP goals, forecasts, implement sales & marketing strategy according to customer and market requirements.
Effective knowledge of customer business including forecasting of sales by industry segment, platform and by part number as needed.
Maintain accurate and up to date customer records for significant calls and visits made, events taking place, and history.
Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
Sustains rapport with Key Accounts by making frequent visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities. Heavy travel will be required.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Technical understanding of the Nelson products and customer markets is required. More importantly, the individual must drive results through developing leadership skills that consistently champion and support a culture of continuous improvement in order to reach high performance levels on an individual and team basis.
Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and in varied environments is required with excellent interpersonal, organization, computer, writing, and presentation skills. Must be able to accommodate overnight travel 80% of the time and work effectively without close supervision.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or the equivalent in Industry experience with at least 2 5 years relevant experience in related markets is required. (required)

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet. (required)
Self-motivated with excellent management skills and the ability to support and motivate others. (required)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
