Our Field Service Engineers represent the METTLER TOLEDO standard of a 'Trusted Advisor' to our customers. You will conduct on-site installations, provide customer training (hardware, software and limited applications), perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance for assigned instrumentation. You will also support and work in collaboration with the North American Service Operations, Depot Repair, Field Service, Sales, Customer Service and Product Management.
Can You?
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field
Minimum 4 years military or commercial experience or equivalent education in electronic/electrical engineering environment with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronic, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated competence and abilities to complete daily tasks associated with field service responsibilities
Experience with Infrared, Optics, Lasers, HPLC, GC, or Mass Spectrometry is a plus, as is a background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Documented abilities to troubleshoot electronic, electrical, mechanical instruments and computer systems
Exceptional customer service skills and the demonstrated ability to perform in a sometimes stressful environment
Excellent communication skills both oral and written ? English required
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Can You?
Perform on-site installations, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance of instrumentation including infrared reaction profiling equipment, Supercritical Fluid Chromatography systems, laser crystallization monitoring equipment, and automated lab reactor systems.
Communicate customer issues with sales and support teams on a routine basis.
Independently manage hardware and software projects .
Effectively prioritize, schedule, and track open service issues to satisfactory completion.
Give feedback on non-conformance issues for quality improvements
Manage field inventory through the use of a variety of software tools
Exhibit general software literacy and knowledge of Windows-based operating systems
Report scheduling, utilization, expense, and critical issues as required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
