Sales Manager

Seeking an energetic sales/technical/sales and or marketing support person with some transportation industry experience. Responsible for a geographic region within the central/eastern part of the U.S. This individual would have direct revenue responsibility for achieving sales targets in the defined territory. Regional trade show planning and participation where displaying of products and services sold with channel partners. Excellent communicator and presenter with the ability to demonstrate solutions offered. Location is flexible, ideally somewhere in the south central Midwest region of the U.S. Must be willing to travel, and be a self-starter with limited oversight. Base plus commission.Qualifications Required??? At least 3 years of sales experience with some in the transportation market or experience selling to public agencies.
Experience with direct sales and distribution sales process. Proven communication skills preparing PowerPoints and delivering presentations to prospects. Track record demonstrating the ability to identify, purse, and close sales with new prospect accounts and account management of existing customers resulting in add-on business.
Qualifications Desired??? Results oriented proven professional.
Experience with Salesforce desired for quoting and account management.
Technical background with transportation systems desired - understanding or experience working on intersection or ITS systems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
